The SFV-35Q/35FQ cabinet assembly (#102437) is sized for the 35,000 BTU furnace, while this cabinet (#102439) is sized specifically for the 42,000 BTU SFV-42Q/42FQ models. They are not interchangeable — ordering the wrong one will result in a mismatched fit.

Does this cabinet include the cabinet front panel?
No — the cabinet assembly and cabinet front are sold as separate parts on Suburban's parts diagram. If your cabinet front (3-hole panel) is also damaged, you'll need to order it separately (part #101242).

Will this work with a bottom duct installation?
Yes — but if you're using the bottom duct, you'll need Suburban's Bottom Duct Kit (part #520753) in addition to this cabinet, and the discharge cover plate (#063581) must be removed before installation. If you are NOT using the bottom duct, that discharge cover plate must remain in place.

How many duct connections does this cabinet support?
The SFV-42Q/42FQ cabinet front supports up to three 4" round ducts, offering more ducting flexibility than the smaller SFV-20/25/30Q models, which support two.

Is this furnace 12V or does it need external power?
Suburban SFV-Q series furnaces operate on 12-volt DC power only, supplied by your RV's battery or converter system. This furnace is designed for negative-ground 12V DC systems only — it should never be wired to a positive-ground system or connected directly to 120V AC.
